The LaserWave-I measures
the spectral properties of tunable lasers, laser diodes, LEDs and
fiber optic components and systems from 190-1350nm. Over this range
you can specify a 200, 400 or 600 nm Window of coverage with
corresponding resolutions of about 0.3, 0.8 and 1.2 nm. The
corresponding peak location accuracy is approximately ten times
greater: 0.03, 0.08 and 0.12nm.
The LaserWave consists of spectrometer with an SMA 905 fiber optic
input connector. The LaserWave can be used with either a supplied
50 um input fiber or directly. Three LaserWave options are
available to connect to a PC serial port, connect via USB and a
plug in card (ISA or PCI).
Slave cards are available to cover additional spectral ranges
within the same spectrometer housing. Each Slave unit has a
separate input fiber, but shares common electronics with the Master
unit.
